The people — everyone is smart and hard-working. It baffles me a little, that given our remote set-up we act more as a team than some of my in-office positions. I think this is a result of their business model, which also is why I joined. It brings out the best in the team, the clients and the work.
The Comeback — one of my all-time favorite shows. I am rewatching it for comic relief during these tense geopolitical times. It is well-written and a play on reality vs. perception. It’s especially relevant today given how many people are obsessed with the way they are portrayed on social media. The main character is on a reality show, but struggles to maintain her projected image in real life, away from the set. Catch me dropping some Valerie quotes.
The mountains — I grew up in Appalachia hiking and skiing, but lived near ocean most my adult life. Finally, I moved back to the mountains and am loving it.
